Our Vision:

…to be a church that people want to be part of and want others to be part of too.

Our Mission:

…to encourage people toward a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Strategy:

…to create opportunities in which believers are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and unbelievers are encouraged toward Jesus, the One who died and rose from the grave for their sins.

What we believe:

We hold to, affirm, and adopt the 2008 Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

  • About God:

    • We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving relationship of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  • About the Scriptures:

    • We believe the whole Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. We believe the Bible is without error and reveals God’s plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

  • About Humanity:

    • We believe that God created all people in His image to have a personal relationship with Him. Yet, because of sinful disobedience, mankind has alienated itself from God and, as a result, lacks any ability to restore that relationship through their own personal efforts and attempts.

  • About Jesus:

    • We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. He came to reveal God to the world, to die for the sin of mankind, to defeat death through his resurrection, and provide the means of salvation and a restored relationship with God.

  • About Salvation:

    • We believe people are saved by God’s underserved and un-earnable grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.

  • About the Holy Spirit:

    • We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.

  • About the Church:

    • We believe the church is the body of Christ and that Jesus Christ is its head. The members of the church are those who have received God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head. The Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which visibly and tangibly express the gospel.

  • About the Christian Life:

    • We believe all believers should live for Christ and His mission and not for themselves. God desires us to love Him above all and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. By obedience to God’s Word, with the help of the Spirit’s power, and reliance upon the Lord Jesus, we are to mature and conform ourselves to the image of Christ.

  • About the Return of Jesus:

    • We believe in the personal and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God motivates believers to godly living, sacrificial service and energetic mission.

  • About the Resurrection:

    • We believe that God desires everyone everywhere to believe the gospel by turning to Him and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. We believe that God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to eternal condemnation and the believer to eternal life and joy with the Lord in the new heaven and the new earth.
