Women's Ministries

 

The purpose of the Women's Ministry of Northview Evangelical Free Church is to help each woman at Northview develop and strengthen her relationship with Jesus Christ. The more we know Christ, the more we want to know Him (Psalm 130:5). The Women's Ministry wants to encourage, support, and uplift each woman through activities that encourage friendship and growth, through Bible Studies, prayer, serving others and through discipleship opportunities.

 

One way this is done at Northview, is by planning a once a month women's get together. We have craft nights, game nights, dinners out, ladies' teas, instructional times, and self-help sessions. Currently, we have a small-group women's Bible study that meets during the week to nurture spiritual growth. Every other month, the ladies get together for a meal and to celebrate someone's birthday in the group. This fosters intimacy and friendships within our church body. To further our walks with Jesus Christ, we periodically host a weekend Women's Retreat, and have also had a group of women from Northview attend the Heartbeat of a Women Conference.

The women of Northview are also concerned with meeting visitors who come to our church and enjoy providing the welcome gift that the Pastor gives to visitors. The ladies also reach out to the church family and provide meals for those who need extra support during an illness or following surgery.
