Worship Ministries – At Northview we believe that true worship is a lifestyle of praise and obedience that seeks to bring glory to God in all that we do. Our Sunday morning Worship service is a time in which we gather as the Body of Christ to worship and glorify Him corporately and to minister to each other. We do so through a contemporary style of worship that utilizes both the modern praise and worship songs as well as hymns. Most importantly, we seek to use music that is theologically rich and that points to God. Our heart is to praise the Lord unashamedly and worship Him intimately. We believe that the transformational power of God's Spirit forms the life of His Son, Jesus Christ within us.We always have room for additional instrumentalists such as: drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, keyboards, and horns: trumpet, sax, trombone. We also have room for more singers: tenor, alto, soprano. Finally, if you have a skill in audio engineering and enjoy mixing sound, we have space available to add more sound-techs to our crew. Skateboarding Outreach – We enjoy reaching out to the skateboarders who use the skate park at the YMCA. This is done by being a providing positive role models as speakers, great music, and lots of food! Events are scheduled periodically.
Northern Churches Care - Since 1982, Northern Churches Care (NCC) has consistently served Colorado Springs through its emergency crisis support programs. NCC is dedicated to improving the lives of low-income families, the working poor, and those who experience an unexpected calamity by helping them move from crisis to hope. Northview partners with NCC in providing food and other services.
Church league Softball – Northview participates in the city’s YMCA league during the summer months.
Homeschool Coop – This COOP meets regularly as a support to homeschooled children and their parents. Contact Meryl Morgan for more information.
Springs Rescue Mission – Northview serves the community by ministering at the Springs Rescue Mission. We serve, pray with others, and show the love of Christ!
